Free Summer Meals for Kids

APS Food and Nutrition Services is serving up hot, healthy meals at 25 school sites across Albuquerque.

When school lets out for summer, Albuquerque Public Schools keeps serving. Starting June 2, APS Food and Nutrition Services will provide free, nutritious and delicious hot lunches to anyone 18 and under at 27 schools across the city.

The Summer Meal Program ensures that children and teens in our community have access to the food they need to stay healthy, active and ready to learn throughout the summer months.

Meals will be served Monday through Friday, from June 2 through July 25. Please note, meal service will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and on July 4 for Independence Day.

There’s no need to sign up in advance—just show up hungry! All meals must be enjoyed on-site.
