It's Homecoming Season

APS comprehensive high schools are celebrating with dress-up days, parades, carnivals, class competitions, coronation, and other activities. We'd love to see APS alumni at their school's homecoming football game!

It's not every day you see football players in cheerleader skirts or students dressed like their parents when they were in high school.

Then again, it's not unheard of this time of year. In fact, it's tradition. Homecoming tradition.

Each APS high school has its own homecoming traditions—parades, carnivals, dress-up days, class competitions, tailgating. The week's festivities culminate in the presentation of the homecoming court, the coronation of royalty, and—of course—the homecoming football game often attended by alumni.

The Eldorado Eagles kicked off homecoming season for Albuquerque Public Schools the week of Aug. 29. Below is the schedule for all APS comprehensive high schools.

We'd love to see and share photos from this time of year. Share on social media by using the hashtag #APSHC22
