Board of Education Community Conversations
Please join the Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education at one or more public listening events in November and December.
The APS Board of Education has committed to a new way of doing business. The first step is holding deliberate conversations with you, members of the APS community, as they seek to understand your vision and values that they will use to help them chart the course for the future of APS.
We want to hear what you think about the following:
- What do you hope for students to know or be able to do throughout their educational career?
- What should APS not do or stop doing on the path to improving student outcomes?
Please join us from 6 to 8 p.m. at one or more of our public listening events:
- Dec. 1 at Cibola High School, 1510 Ellison Drive NW
- Dec. 5 at Albuquerque High School (all Spanish session), 800 Odelia Road. NE
Can't Attend A Session?
- Share your thoughts through our online survey.
- Attend one of the Community Conversations held on a different date.
Student outcomes don’t change until adult behaviors change. The APS Board of Education, like a growing number of school boards across the nation, understands that change starts here. This is why we are committed to improving the way we interact with you—the community. Please join us for a series of community conversations as we envision, together, what is possible for students in Albuquerque Public Schools.
- Light refreshments will be served.
- Interpretation services will be available.
