APS Families: Please Update Emergency Contacts

Use ParentVUE to make any needed changes.

School evacuations like the one at West Mesa High School recently serve as a reminder for APS families to keep emergency contact lists up-to-date.

Online registration for the coming school year begins March 30. This is an excellent opportunity to update and add emergency contacts. 

The names and phone numbers of emergency contacts can be reviewed and changed as needed in ParentVUE. Go to the Emergency section of your student's online registration to review and make changes. You can edit existing contacts and add new ones. You will need to include names and at least one phone number for new contacts. 

As you edit your emergency contacts, don't forget to check the "Release To" box for any person who is allowed to pick up your child in an emergency. 

Families can add as many emergency contacts as they wish.

Please also make sure you delete contacts if they are no longer authorized to pick up your children in an emergency. 

The information can be updated at any time, even after you register for the school year.
