Showcase Highlights Student Passion at Pajarito

Students presented culinary creations, ukulele tunes, short films and science projects to proud families.

Pajarito Elementary celebrated a milestone with its very first Genius Hour showcase of the school year!

For six weeks, students immersed themselves in passion projects, exploring newly acquired skills and diving deep into topics that sparked their curiosity. The hard work culminated in an open classroom showcase, where families stepped right into the learning environment to see what their students had created.

The room was buzzing with creativity, featuring a wide array of student accomplishments, including:

Performing Arts: Live ukulele performances and theater acts
Digital Media: Student-directed short films
Culinary Arts: Hands-on culinary projects and recipes
STEM & Beyond: Interactive science demonstrations and original skill displays

The interactive presentations gave students a stage to proudly explain their process and share their achievements with loved ones. The Pajarito Elementary team is so proud of all the young innovators and is already looking forward to the next Genius Hour showcase!
