Principal Jennifer Blythe and her students welcomed Pawz balloon and pilot Melissa Bond for a special visit.

Students at the Stephen Moody Complex recently had an unforgettable experience when "Pawz" the hot air balloon stopped by campus for a special visit.

Principal Jennifer Blythe said the event was especially meaningful because the school serves 100% special education students, and staff work hard to provide them with enriching opportunities they might not otherwise have.

Pilot Melissa Bond and Pawz offered students a close-up look at the balloon and shared how it takes flight. The visit was filled with smiles and excitement as students gathered around to watch the balloon inflate.

Moments like these remind us how powerful hands-on experiences can be, creating memories that last long after the school day ends.
