2024 Selfless Senior Spotlight: Sinahi Oaxaca

Meet Sinahi Oaxaca, the 2024 Selfless Senior of Albuquerque High School.

“My name is Sinahí Oaxaca, a Mexican-American young woman, whose values and beliefs include giving back to the community that surrounds me. Having a growth mindset not only for myself, but for my community are priority, and I aspire to become someone people can count on. “Hay que ayudar a la gente, hay que ser siempre humildes,” to help people out, to always be humble, is something my parents have taught me.  It is not about expecting anything in return; it is about extending a hand to someone in need. It is everyone’s first time living in this world; we need to take care of each other.”
