2024 Selfless Senior Spotlight: Miranda Castaneda

Meet Miranda Castañeda, the 2024 Selfless Senior of Rio Grande High School.

“My name is Miranda Castañeda, and it is a privilege to be this year's Selfless Senior for Rio Grande. It’s more than a duty to serve and give back to the community, it’s an honor to do so in any, and every way. Striving to be a friend a friend would like to have, I’ve forged strong and meaningful relationships and friendships with peers and coordinators. A smile goes a long way, and it’s always my goal and prize when I leave a place knowing someone smiled that day. Community is meant for us to build each other up, and there is no better responsibility I would rather have.”
