New Summer Lessons on NM PBS

Through July 10 on Channel 5.1

This summer, APS @Home Learning with NMPBS, KNME will air four weeks of new lesson content for grades K-5 on NMPBS, KNME Channel 5.1.

New lessons will run Monday-Friday through July 10.

Daily Broadcast Schedule

  • 8 to 10 a.m.: English Language Arts and Math for grades K-2 taught by S.Y. Jackson teacher Mary Chappell
  • 10 a.m. to noon: English Language Arts and Math for grades 3-5 taught by Bel Air teacher Abby Carlson

  • 8 a.m. to noon: K-5 PE, Art, Music, and Virtual Field Trips taught by Monte Vista teacher Margaret Hornbeck and Zia teacher Jeremy Dunham.

All of the APS @Home content is available on the APS YouTube channel, including new content on environmental science from the Sandia Mountain Natural History Museum.

Parent and student resources and scheduled content will also be available at KNME Broadcast Resources.

These segments are not required but are designed to keep young students learning, keep them from losing skills, and help to engage them in academics while away from school. We encourage all students to participate.

If the lessons seem too easy or too advanced, please adjust your viewing time to accommodate your child's needs.

Visit APS @Home for a complete broadcast schedule, lesson materials, and full episodes on YouTube.
