APS High School Summer Credit Recovery offers all core content courses and are taught according to Common Core State Standards curriculum guidelines. All courses are taught by Highly Qualified content area instructors.

  • Morning Session: 7:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Afternoon Session: 12:45 to 5 p.m.

LCE LOGOSpanish Language Arts Summer Courses

The APS Language and Cultural Equity Department provides Spanish Language Arts (SLA) summer programs. Students will confirm SLA level and course needed with their current counselor.  Counselors will enroll and schedule the class.

SLA classes will be conducted during Semester 1 & Semester 2 AM sessions only. Eligible SLA students will receive instruction from a state-certified SLA teacher. Eligible students will develop Spanish language proficiency in these courses with an emphasis on advanced literacy skills.

 There are no fees charged for the summer SLA programs

To enroll and schedule SLA course the student must:

  • Enroll and register with their High School counselor and enroll into 2019 Summer School.
    High School Counselors must determine SLA course to take. 
  • Receive a copy of the summer school course schedule.
