APS Preschool/Pre-K Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens March 24, 2025 at 9 a.m.

About APS Preschool/Pre-K Registration

When filling out the registration you will be asked which year you'd like to register your child. Please choose the correct year! If you plan for your child to attend August 2025-May 2026, select the 2025-2026 school year.

If you already have children in APS, you will not need to create a ParentVUE account. You will use the same account for your other children. However, your Preschool child will be completely separate from your other children.

When you fill out the Pre-School Student packet, you will be asked to choose 3 different school choices. Please make sure these are choices that you are okay with because we will used this as a reference if you do not get into your preferred school of choice.

Please take a look at the APS schools that offer preschool.

You will find out if your child has a spot at a school in May 2025. You will either receive an email from our department or the school clerk will reach out to you. If you are contacted via email, this will be the email that you used to set up your ParentVUE account.

Age Requirements

Just to clarify, your child must be 4 years old by August 31, 2025 OR 3 years old by August 31, 2025 to qualify to go to school with our NM Pre-K program. 

If your child is 5 by August 31, 2025 they will need to start Kindergarten.
