Early Childhood

Early Childhood supports children in APS Preschool programs and works with the city, county, state, and experts to develop a collaborative partnership between the home, school, and community.

APS Early Childhood has been awarded a Guhl Literacy Grant. We are excited to begin implementation of our book project, "I see Me!" for our APS SPED Preschool Classrooms.

Welcome to the Early Childhood Office

Early Childhood is essential in supporting the needs of Preschool children. We provide professional development to enhance learning outcomes for young children in a range of areas:

  • developmentally appropriate practices
  • curriculum and instruction
  • assessment
  • leadership
  • transition to kindergarten
