Get Covered APS! Insurance Enrollment Event on Saturday, January 24th

Free health care enrollment event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main building at School on Wheels Alternative Education School (Main Campus, South Valley).

"Open enrollment” for Federal Health Insurance officially ends on February 15th, so we encourage not only APS families to attend but the entire community. On-site enrollment will be offered as well as certified health care guides to provide information and assistance in applying for Medicaid or information on insurance through New Mexico’s Health Care Exchange.

This free event will be held in the main building at School on Wheels Alternative Education School (Main Campus, South Valley) from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2015. School on Wheels Alternative Education School (Main Campus, South Valley) is located at 129 Hartline Ave. SW (map).

This event will also include free food, drinks, hourly door prizes, activities for children and presentations on healthy lifestyles!

“Because health-related issues can be barriers to learning, APS is working on ways for students and families to be healthier,” said Brian Bolding, Medicaid enrollment coordinator in the APS Student, Family, and Community Supports Division. “We at APS believe that a healthier student is a more successful student.”
