Grab and Go Meals

Meals are distributed three days a week at all APS elementary schools and three high schools.

Families can pick up 2 breakfasts and two lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays and 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches on Fridays at all elementary schools as well as Manzano, Rio Grande, and West Mesa high schools.  


Families can pick up meals at any APS elementary school, and Manzano, Rio Grande, and West Mesa High Schools.

Guidelines for Families

  1. Pick-up Requirements: Please wear a mask, practice social distancing, and have your car trunk open.
  2. Grab and Go meals are available to anyone 18 years of age and under.
  3. Students do not need to be present, but they are always welcomed.
  4. APS requests that you not bring animals to the Grab and Go sites, including in your cars.

Meal Site Information

  • Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 20 – Families can pick up meals at all elementary schools, and Manzano, Rio Grande and West Mesa high schools. For school addresses, check the map below, or visit the Directory of Schools.
    • Mondays and Wednesdays: Each visit will provide 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches 
    • Fridays: Each visit will provide 3 breakfast and 3 lunches.
  • Hours of operation: Meal Sites are open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

How to apply:

  • Online Applications: Easy, step-by-step directions are provided in English and Spanish.
  • YumYummi Mobile App: Families can also apply through this APS breakfast and lunch menu mobile app. YumYummi can be downloaded from Google Play or iTunes App Store.
  • Paper Applications: Available between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at APS Food, and Nutrition Services located at 800 Louisiana Blvd NE.

When to apply:

Applications must be filled out every year. Families are encouraged to complete the application by mid-September. Only one application is needed per family, even if children attend different APS schools.
