Calling all youth ages 8 - 16 years to attend the Roots Summer Leadership Academy!

2022 marks the camp's 10th year and we want all community members to be a part of the celebration. With comprehensive programming offered by the New Mexico Black Leadership Council, the camp utilizes visual arts, movement, voice, and drama to teach STEAM principles in a culturally-enriching environment, while also instilling in the youth pivotal social-emotional learning concepts to ensure they thrive in everything they do.

Lastly, the youth who participate will have the opportunity to perform in the culminating capstone program, The Harambee Celebration.
