Student of the Week

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What Leah's teacher says about her: Leah is a star. She is diligent and hard-working and takes her academic responsibilities very seriously. She is performing at the top of her class academically. I especially admire her reading skills and fluency during novel studies. She is very kind and helpful without ever being asked. When she sees someone in need whether it is a  teacher,  a fellow student, or her younger siblings she steps up. I greatly admire her as a student and as a person of excellent character.

Favorite subjects: I like math because I think it is very fun to solve problems.

Hobbies and activities: I enjoy doing Perler beads in my free time at school.  I am learning how to knit and crochet at home.
