What Camry's principal says about her: Camry is a passionate student that despite life’s challenges and obstacles perseveres through anything that comes her way. She is always eager to learn, proud of her success and growth, desires to be at school, and always has a positive attitude. She embodies a leader and learner and what students are expected to be and strive to be at Marie Hughes Elementary.
What Camry's teachers say about her: Camry is a vibrant student who brings positivity to any situation she’s in and happiness to those all around her. Her determination, work ethic, eagerness, and pure grit gets her through any obstacle she faces. To say she is hardworking would be an understatement. Due to Camry’s condition, even daily tasks may be a struggle, but she meets everything she encounters head-on with perseverance and a smile on her face. She is the definition of a role model student and is a great example to her peers. She’s the type of student that not only inspires but makes everyone around her always try their best despite all the challenges life can throw your way. We are honored to be part of her journey.
Favorite subject: Camry’s favorite subject is math. She also enjoys reading.
Hobbies and activities: Camry enjoys using technology to express herself creatively. She loves animals, especially taking care of her service dog Luna. She loves to be active outside, and particularly enjoys running and swinging. She loves completing hands-on activities with her peers at school. She enjoys going to her grandparents' house and spending time with her older sisters. She is also very good at videogames and singing.
