Student of the Week: Allen Hewson

Congratulations to Allen Hewson, 5th grader at Georgia O'Keeffe Elementary, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Allen:

Allen tries hard in school and wants to be a good friend/student because he loves his friends, teachers, school and learning itself wholeheartedly. We enjoy his enthusiasm!

What’s your favorite subject?

I like math and writing.

What are your hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

I enjoy soccer, running, jump roping, and Cub Scouts. I also like piano and thinking of ideas for inventions that might do things like saving our world from pollution.
