APS Student Councils Shine at State Conference

A dozen schools awarded Platinum Student Council of the Year at NMASC's 75th anniversary event.

Numerous APS student councils were honored last week for the impressive work they’re doing at their schools, including a dozen district high and middle schools that received the Platinum Student Council of the Year award.

The awards were bestowed during the 75th anniversary of the New Mexico Association of Student Councils conference. The Star Wars-themed event, dubbed The Leadership Force Awakens, was hosted by Cibola High School and ran Feb. 13-15.

Below is a list of awards that APS schools won during the event:
