APS Students to Showcase Art at Districtwide Art Mart

More than 50 student vendors to sell original art and handmade goods.

The Albuquerque Public Schools Fine Arts department will host its first districtwide Art Mart on Saturday, April 5, at the APS Berna Facio Professional Development Complex. 

More than 50 high school students from across the district will sell original art, prints and handmade goods from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event aims to provide students with an opportunity to become young entrepreneurs and contribute to New Mexico's creative industries. Attendees can also view the Metro Youth Art Exhibit, currently on display at the complex. 

The Art Mart began at Albuquerque High School and expanded to three other schools before becoming a districtwide annual event.
