2025 Selfless Seniors Announced

Winners selected based on what they’ve done to give back to their community.

The APS Education Foundation has announced the names of the 15 students selected as 2025 Selfless Seniors for promoting positive change in their lives and the lives of others.

The winners were chosen from each of Albuquerque Public Schools’ 13 comprehensive high schools and from Nex+Gen Academy High School and New Futures High School. They were selected based on their volunteer work in the community.

The Class of 2025 Selfless Seniors are:

• Albuquerque High School, Kaylee Shelton
• Atrisco Heritage Academy High School, Leona Belmares
• Cibola High School, Ryan Ramirez
• Del Norte High School, Jazmine Montoya
• Eldorado High School, Charles Epp
• Highland High School, Felipe Hernandez
• La Cueva High School, Clay Hsieh
• Manzano High School, Mattie Espinosa
• New Futures High School, Amari Solomon-Iule
• Nex+Gen Academy High School, Dani Figueroa
• Rio Grande High School, Robert Mendoza
• Sandia High School, Eli Crowley
• Valley High School, Elecia Padilla
• Volcano Vista High School, Kailyn Montoya
• West Mesa High School, Noah Chavez

Each Selfless Senior will receive a $1,000 award that can either be used as a scholarship or donated to a program at their high school.
