2025 SAT School Day Moved

New day is April 2, 2025.

Spring break and the SAT testing window have prompted APS to move the 2025 SAT School Day to Wednesday, April 2.

The APS leadership team and the Assessment Team from the APS Office of Accountability & Reporting made the change based on feedback from schools. The SAT School Day had previously been scheduled for March 25.

“This allows the greatest opportunities for student participation as the SAT School Day testing window closes after April 25, 2025,” the Assessment Team said in an email. The team noted that the College Board sets the SAT School Day testing window, which for this school year is March 17 to April 25.

All APS 11^th graders will take the SAT for free on April 2. The college entrance exam serves as the state's high school assessment. High school students not taking the SAT will have an asynchronous learning day.
