Take Advantage of APS Summer Learning Opportunities

Two March events are planned to show families what’s available and register students for summer programs.

APS is inviting families to Spring into Summer by exploring learning opportunities available for their children over the summer break.

The district is hosting two events in March to bring families up to speed on APS summer learning programs:

• March 6, 4-7 p.m. at George I. Sánchez Collaborative Community School, 4050 118th St. SW
• March 7, 4-7 p.m. at Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, 3315 Louisiana Blvd. NE

In-person registration will be available at both events.

This is your chance to check out the variety of K-12 programs APS is offering this summer. Please come explore the options at our open registration events.

Among the programs that will be highlighted:

• Elementary Summer Learning Adventure 
• Special Education Extended School Year
• Indian Education Programs
• Middle School STEAM
• Newcomers Secondary Program

Registration for High School Credit Recovery Courses will be conducted through your student’s counselor starting on April 8.
