New Video Available to Help Families Ace Mornings
We're all making adjustments to the time change, so it's a great time to build or update our morning routines.
Getting students up and out the door in the morning can be challenging, but there’s a way to set them up for success. APS has created a video highlighting tips to help families get their students to school on time and ready to learn.
Among those tips:
- Start the night before by making sure everything your student will need the next day is packed and ready to go.
- Have your child pick out an outfit the night before.
- Work with your child on creating a list of tasks that will need to be completed each morning, things like eating breakfast and brushing their teeth. Figure out how much time each task will take and plan accordingly.
Having your child at school on time is important for various reasons, and the new "Beat the Bell: Mastering a Morning Routine," video can help you accomplish that.
The video is from Families Connected, an online learning series for APS families. Videos can be accessed through their YouTube channel and cover many different topics that help families navigate the educational process at APS.
