APS students and staff will participate in pre-game and half-time activities, including elementary school students who have made significant gains in reading. The APS Board of Education has committed to improving student outcomes, and that includes proficiency rates for early literacy. Board members will provide more information on the board-adopted Goals and Guardrails and a survey to gauge how the district is doing. Other planned participants include APS soccer players, a teacher choir, and incoming Superintendent Dr. Gabriella Durán Blakey, who will participate in the ceremonial first kick.

In addition, APS will have a reading table on the concourse with free books and tips for summer reading and a Human Resources table with information on working for the district.

More information to come.
