A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Valley High's Video Production Team

Students discuss their future aspirations and what it took to produce the video promoting public input for the superintendent search.

Nick, a student in Ana-Alicia Karnas’ Photography, Film Production class, is proud that he and his classmates were able to pull it off.

“We didn’t have much time, but we got it done,” he said, referring to the video and social media segments his team created to promote two community meetings and the survey soliciting public input on the qualities community members want to see in the next Albuquerque Public Schools superintendent.

The team had just a few days to produce the materials, and they met the deadline. They said it reinforced the importance of working as a team. The group discusses how Valley High’s film class and club are preparing them for their futures in the video below.
