Educators Night at NM United on July 6

A portion of the proceeds will go to the APS Education Foundation for school and classroom grants.

New Mexico United, the state's pro soccer team, is hosting Educators Night on Wednesday, July 6, at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.

APS employees can get discounted tickets, plus a portion of the proceeds will go to the APS Education Foundation for school and classroom grants.

The game against Rio Grande Valley FC Toros starts at 7 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.

APS will host a table at the game for hiring support staff including bus drivers, nurses, custodians, educational assistants, food service workers, maintenance and operations, clerks, secretaries, and IT techs. The table will be located on the concourse near the Marge sculpture (location subject to change.)

Their players visit our schools and teams, sharing their stories with our students and inspiring young people to dare to dream and strive for their goals,” said Shannon Barnhill, executive director of the APS Education Foundation.
