APS Board of Education Uses Zoom for Public Comments

Meetings are on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m.

The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education will resume the public forum portion of its regular meetings using Zoom, a cloud-based video conferencing tool.

The public is invited to address the board during its regular meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The meetings begin at 5 p.m.

Although the Board of Education has been meeting virtually since the beginning of April to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, its meetings remain public, and community input is valued. The intent of public forum is for the board to listen, not comment on issues or answer specific questions.

During the public health order for social distancing, board meeting agenda items are kept to urgent business or items needing approval to conduct district business.

The virtual board meetings are streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. Visit the APS Board of Education webpage for the meeting agendas, links, and instructions for participating in public forum. For more information: boarded@aps.edu or 505-880-3729.
