A Few School-Based Health Clinics Remain Open

Clinics at Emerson, Grant, and Atrisco Heritage will continue to provide services during the coronavirus crisis. All other school-based clinics are closed.

Emerson Elementary School

  • Hours of Operation: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Fridays only
  • Services: Behavioral Health Services & Primary Care (medical care)
  • Serving: Students grade PreK-5

 Grant Middle School

  • Hours of Operation: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesdays only (Updated, as of April 6)
  • Services: Behavioral Health Services & Primary Care (medical care)  
  • Serving: Students grades 6-8
  • Call for appointments: (505) 299-2113

University of New Mexico Hospital - Atrisco Heritage High School – Community Clinic

  • Hours of Operation: Open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Serving: Established patients only

All Other School-Based Clinics are Closed 

The UNM clinics at Albuquerque High School, Manzano High School, East San Jose Elementary, Highland High, Rio Grande High School, Van Buren Middle, and Washington Middle are closed.

UNM SBHC staff are contacting at-risk students to ensure safety plans are being followed, prescriptions are being refilled, and that appropriate follow up guidance is being given.

People calling the UNM SBHCs’ direct phone numbers are being directed to call the UNM main office number and that phone number will be checked during normal business hours.
