Supt. Reedy Reads on Lavender Libros YouTube Channel
The reading project was launched by City Councilor Cynthia D. Borrego
Albuquerque City Councilor Cynthia D. Borrego has launched Lavender Libros, a book reading project to demonstrate care and outreach to New Mexico’s children. APS Superintendent Raquel Reedy is among the government administrators and community leaders alike who will read a children's book available on the Lavender Libros YouTube channel. Melissa Sanchez, Executive Director of ABQ Westside Chamber of Commerce, is helping organize the project.
The reading broadcasts will occur every Wednesday until the State Health Order is lifted and possibly continue throughout the year.
