The Fourth annual A is for Art! is ticketless this year. You can reserve your spot by going to the APS Education Foundation’s website at and clicking on the A is for Art! registration form by Sept. 13. Or, you can stop by the Foundation’s office at 6400 Uptown NE, Suite 630 East, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call 881-0841.

The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for students. APS teachers get a $6 discount.

The event will feature live performances and nearly 200 pieces of student artwork for auction including ceramic, jewelry, paintings and more. Proceeds go to the student artists, APS fine arts programs and to the APS Education Foundation.

A is for Art! will begin at 5 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and the opening of the silent auction, which will continue throughout the evening. The ballroom opens at 6:15 featuring APS performing artists and special guest Mary Miranda, a product of APS and a contestant on last season's The Voice on NBC. We'll also have edible art food stations, plus a photo booth and more.
