In celebration of Attendance Awareness Month, Families Connected produced a short video about why kindergarten attendance is so important.
Did you know that if a student misses one day it takes three days for them to catch up? It's so important that your kindergartner attends school every day!
Watch this video to hear firsthand from teachers, district staff, the First Lady of Albuquerque, and real APS kindergartners about how this foundational grade has changed and why attendance is so important.
