Free Adult Basic Education Courses

Offered to parents and families of students who attend Title I schools.

High School Completion Pathways

These courses assist adults in attaining a secondary school diploma, GED, job skills and life skills. All classes are free of charge and enrollment is ongoing. Day and evening classes are available as is transportation assistance. Course offerings include:

  • High School Diploma
  • GED Preparation
  • Job Readiness
  • Life Skills Classes

Adult Literacy Classes

These classes assist adults in building their language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). Classes are held at participating Title I schools, are free of charge and childcare is available.

Getting Ahead Course 

  • Participants are led in a self-examination of their experience of poverty, build their resources and move to self-sufficiency
  • Classes are hosted at Title I schools
  • Free childcare and transportation assistance is available

Family Building Nights

  • Family Building Nights are hosted at participating Title I schools
  • Provide an opportunity for families and students to work together and engage in fun, hands-on building tasks
