The job fair will be held at the Alice & Bruce King Education Complex (the district’s administrative offices) at 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE.

APS has openings for more than 330 teaching positions, 130 of which are in special education. About half of the elementary school teaching positions require endorsements in bilingual or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

The district also needs eight school nurses and nearly two dozen counselors, though many of the counseling positions are part-time at elementary schools and can be combined with a second school to create full-time positions.

Job openings are updated regularly on the APS jobs webpage.

Those interested in becoming a substitute teacher also are encouraged to attend the job fair. Visit the How to Be a Substitute webpage for more information.
