About Library Services

APS Library Services supports the collection, management, and use of library resources in 137 school libraries and five district libraries. Library Services offers technical and professional support to school librarians in a wide variety of ways.

• Professional development at large in-services, small training sessions, and one-on-one site visits.
• Technical support for our centrally administrated Destiny Online Catalog, the portal to library books, e-books, and research databases.
• Acquisitions, processing, and cataloging support for school libraries.
• Access to high-quality online information for APS students and teachers.
• Procedures, best-practice guides, and how-to sheets to help with common school library situations such as showing videos and multi-media.
• Help with inventories and other projects.

1. From I-40, merge onto I-25 S, take exit 224(Lead) toward Coal Ave, travel on Coal going EAST to University Blvd.
2. Turn right going SOUTH on University to Basehart, make a right on Basehart. After passing CNM parking lot, make the first right turn onto Vance Emory Lane (this street is unmarked), travel on the paved road downhill and make the first left turn into chain link fence. FOLLOW RED ARROWS on map.
