Desktop Technician

The Desktop Technician's role is to support and maintain school computer systems, desktops, and other classroom technology. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all school hardware and equipment. The Desktop Technician will also serve as the Tier I help desk support for the school, logging trouble tickets while also working with and reporting to the school's IT coordinator on technical issues.

Required technology skills:

  •  Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Windows desktop administration
  •  Microsoft Office sotftware and/or Google GSuite
  •  Windows Server experience (0-5 years)
  •  IT help desk training/experience (0-5 years)
  •  Audio-visual equipment such as security camera systems and projectors
  •  Physically able to lift heavy items and be active throughout the work day
