Native American Community Academy is currently seeking to fill their open High School Head of School position.

Job Overview

Head of School Summary

The High School Head of School is the lead administrator from our 9th-12th grade campus. The High School Head of School is the instructional leader that works collaboratively with staff to ensure NACA is continuing to offer high quality instruction, partnered with culturally relevant pedagogy, to engage our students on their educational journey

Required Skills

Minimum Requirements

  •  5 or more years teaching in a K-12 setting
  •  NM State Administrator License
  •  Strong personal commitment to Indigenous education, diversity, equity, and inclusiveness
  •  Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree

Preferred Requirements

  •  Experience in administrative leadership experience in a K-12 setting
  •  Experience implementing indigneous education philosophy and curriculum
  •  Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and program evaluation
  •  Background knowledge of the fiscal and operating needs of a school
  •  Proven results coaching and developing teachers
  •  Experience working with children, families, and communities in school vision
