As a Grants Coordinator, you will ensure students have access to a variety of programs by seeking, securing, and managing funding opportunities for the school.


  • Research and identify potential public and private grant funding sources for the school that are compatible with its mission, vision, and goals
  • Coordinate the preparation of grant applications with principal and other staff
  • Monitor programs funded by grants to ensure compliance with grantor guidelines
  • Work collaboratively and communicate with funding agencies, grant personnel and all other stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between school and grantors and develops a close working relationship with them
  • Perform functions of financial administration and reporting to include, but not limited to preparation and timely submission of grant applications and reports
  • Monitor, input, review, and approve grant data in the assigned systems
  • Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations administered by the grantors; oversee special audits conducted by grantor
  • Oversee the administration of grant awards
  • Collaborates with the Business Office to initiate required federal/state/internal paperwork

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, including exceptional writing ability
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite apps
  • Prior Experience in grant writing
  • Ability to meet short deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
