Now accepting applications for Elementary Math Interventionist licensed teachers for an inclusive classroom in a high performing charter school in Albuquerque, Coral Community Charter School. The school has been chartered since 2012 and has 252 students from PreK-5th grade.

Coral Community Charter School is New Mexico's first tuition-free public charter school, offering single-gender classes that serve both boys and girls, Pre-K through 5th grade.

Base Salary Schedules can be found here:

Level II - $51,770+
Level III - $62,124

Salary will be based on verified years of experience and education level. These salary amounts include additional days worked.

Required Skills

Provide support for increasing student achievement in math.


  • Provide targeted literacy and/or math intervention to individuals or small groups of students using high quality researched based strategies and resources aligned to Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
  • Participate in meetings with teachers, administration, and families to discuss student placement and progress
  • Analyze student data to determine instructional needs of students and provide targeted support
  • Work with classroom teachers to develop individual learning plans for students
  • Collaborate with administration to provide data and information to develop a math intervention plan
  • Attend Title I supported professional development and/or receive coaching to enhance knowledge of pedagogy and content Provide support as necessary to classroom teachers regarding high quality math instruction



  • Master's Degree
  • National Board Certification
  • Specialized training in applicable content area or related endorsements
  • Be familiar with current Student Assistance Team (SAT) process / Multi-layered Systems of Support (MLSS)


Minimal Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Valid Level 2 or Level 3 New Mexico Education license
  • Five combined years teaching experience in an elementary, middle or high school classroom.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge in core academic subject matter.
  • Knowledge of State and District content standards.
