APS Benefits Annual Open/Switch Enrollment & Wellness Fair
Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 2:30 PM to Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 6:00 PM
We host the annual Employee Wellness Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. We will assist with online open enrollment and Benefits Specialists will be available to answer questions. All APS medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, flexible spending, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and voluntary retirement savings plan vendors will have booths and be available to discuss your benefit options.
Preventive health services such as mammograms, vaccinations, blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol screens, eye exams, wellness consults, a blood donor drive, a mini-farmers market, local businesses, community wellness organizations, 505 Bussin Taste Buds food truck, and more will be available. This event is open to all APS employees regardless of full or part-time status.

This is your one-stop place for preventive screens, vaccinations, and talking one-on-one with your benefits plans and voluntary retirement savings plan vendors. Plus a lot of wellness-y fun!
To be proactive in our pursuit of well-being we must attend events like this for the personalized support we need.
In addition to in-person support for open/switch enrollment, all APS Benefits medical, vision, dental, pharmacy, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and voluntary retirement savings plan vendors will be available for questions and resources.

How to engage the online enrollment process
- The process for enrolling in benefits through the Winocular WorkSpace system has not changed. However, we have an updated video demonstrating the online enrollment process. This is the same platform you use for signing your annual contract. The video is on the Employee Wellness YouTube Channel.
Wellness Fair Events
BCBS Care Van - Blood Glucose & Cholesterol Screens
- Dates: Tuesday, Oct. 8 & 9 from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, front parking lot. No appointment is needed - walk-ups are welcome!
- Details: Offering blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol screens.
Check this off the list for preventive screens this year! This is free of charge and open to all employees (you do not have to be a BCBS member to attend).
Mammograms - Schedule an appointment!
- Date: Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, front parking lot
- Mammograms are a preventive screen for employees and eligible dependents covered at 100% under APS medical plans.

Vaccine Clinic - No Appointment Necessary!
- Date: Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, room #102
- Details: COVID-19 vaccines, flu, pneumonia, shingles, and Tdap shots will be available.
- Expedite your time in line and fill out the vaccination consent forms ahead of time. Click for the consent form in English or Spanish. Print the filled-out forms and bring your prescription drug insurance card.
- This vaccine event is for APS employees and their families. It is not a vaccine event for the public. The vaccines listed above are covered at 100% for APS employees and dependents covered under the APS medical plans.
- Please remember to bring your prescription drug insurance card.
- There is no 'cash-pay' option.
Special "OnSight" Eye Exams - Schedule your exam!
- Date: Tuesday, Oct. 8, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 9, 8:30-5:00 pm
- Location: Berna Facio Professional Development Complex, Room #103
