Grant Opportunities
Albuquerque Community Foundation
Any schools in the district wishing to apply must have principal approval and must submit a draft Letter of Intent to the APS Grant Writer/Manager for pre-approval. Should your school be invited to submit a full proposal, the district will provide writing, budget development, and program development support to your school team.
Talking Talons Community Fund
Supports youth-oriented environmental education and leadership programs. Proposed projects should maximize hands-on outdoor engagement opportunities, involve building environmental stewardship skills in creative ways and support Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) education efforts. Projects need to have quantifiable outcomes.
Do Something Seed Grants
Can be used toward youth-led and community action projects or programs. These grants can be used to jump-start a new program or toward projects that are already developed and sustainable, but seek funds for the next steps of the effort. The United States or Canadian citizens under the age of 25 are eligible.
