Deadline for Submitting Student Films for Fourth Annual Youth Festival

Monday, April 18, 2011 to Tuesday, April 19, 2011

The deadline for submitting short films for the fourth annual Digital Desert Youth Film Festival has been extended to Monday, April 18. New Mexico students from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to submit their original short films and motion-based content to the competition celebrating the best in student digital filmmaking. The films will be judged in nine categories ranging from action to zombie with prizes for the top films in each category. Winning films will be showcased April 29-30 in Albuquerque.

Entered films must meet entry rules and guidelines, which include a five-minute time limit and royalty-free music. Entries must be postmarked by April 16 or hand-delivered to Valley High School by April 18.

They can be sent to Digital Desert Youth Film Festival, c/o Valley High School, 1505 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
