Join us for an interactive workshop with NM Legal Aid to learn about your rights, the opportunity to win prizes, and snacks!

In continued celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, APS is hosting a Know Your Rights workshop facilitated by NM Legal Aid on Wednesday, March 30, at 3:30 pm. This hybrid workshop is available to all students and community members via zoom, geared towards high school and middle school students. APS employees are volunteering to host the workshop at their school, where they will show the zoom workshop, facilitate the Kahoot questions and hold a brief discussion following the zoom workshop. Those covered by bargaining units can get a stipend for their time volunteering for this event, and everyone who participates has the opportunity to win prizes for their participation!

There will also be a community location for students and community members who want to participate but not on their own. This community location is open to students in charter schools, private schools, or homeschooling.
