 Operation School Bell Helps Thousands of APS Students and Families Each Year

Assistance League program rolled out in Albuquerque in 1999 continues to provide uniform wardrobes to students in over 40 schools, helping to eradicate a major barrier to learning and academic achievement. In addition to standardized-dress schools, AL is also supporting several non-uniform schools because the need is so great.

 A is for Art! to Feature Auction Pieces by APS Students, Teachers and Legendary Artist Edward Gonzales

Third annual fundraiser benefiting the APS Fine Arts Program and the APS Education Foundation begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Albuquerque Museum. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students and are available by going to the Foundation’s website, or calling 878-6165. Tickets also are available at the door.
