 The Water Authority Partnership Supports STEM Through Innovative and Fun Hands-On Activities

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority has been a partner to the district for many years. Over 600 hands-on presentations for grades K-12 classroom on water conservation and groundwater protection are made annually. All materials are level appropriate and aligned with the new Common Core Curriculum.

Barnes & Noble at Coronado treated teachers at the Educator Reception held on January 15. The week of January 12-10 was designated as Educator Week and provided savings and discounts on a variety of purchases.

 Kirtland Federal Credit Union and Van Buren MS Exemplify a Great Partnership

Kirtland Federal Credit Union has partnered with several schools over the years but the focus is currently on Van Buren MS. From financial support to volunteers helping with a variety of activities, KFCU has been there for Van Buren.
