What Oscar's family says about him: Oscar has a big heart; he thinks like an adult and always puts others before himself. He likes to read the Bible and sings in church, loves to play soccer, and when big brother visits, Oscar always talks to him and lets him know what is happening at school and home. 

What Oscar's teacher says about him: Oscar is a student who loves a challenge and works hard to meet his goals and those set for him. Oscar has set an example for other students on what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe. He comes to school every day and is eager to learn, participate, and build friendships. Oscar has shown great kindness and embodies our Alameda Values.
