What do you like about your school? 

 “I like the connections teachers make with their students, especially my advisory teacher, Mrs. Gillespie, who has pushed me to do my best since ninth grade.”

What is your favorite class and why? 

Malia says she has always liked history and how it has made her see others’ perspectives.

Activities and Hobbies: 

Varsity, club soccer, and working at a community center keep Malia busy. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and Valley Academy.

Plans for the future: 

“I plan to go out of state for college.” She will study in the medical field and hopes to become a labor and delivery nurse or pediatric nurse.
