Student of the Week Kendra Crawford

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What Kendra's teachers say about her: "Kendra is very responsible with classwork, and she possesses good self-discipline. Kendra is very thoughtful; she shows consideration for the needs of other students. She is frequently among the first to help and mentor other classmates. Kendra is a very valuable part of my classroom."

"Kendra is a kind, dedicated, and dependable student who is always willing to help a friend in need. She has been building her STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Math) skills. She is always ready to work to find ways to collaborate with her peers to improve their projects. In STEAM class and always enjoys the opportunity to try new and creative things with all the components."

Favorite subject: Kendra says reading is her favorite subject because she is good at it. "I practice reading at home. The stories about nature are my favorite. I also like Science because I want to be a scientist when I grow up. I want to try new things."

 Hobbies and activities: "Coding because it is fun and I like it. I have so many ideas."
