Student of the Week: Tanner Ozdoba
Twelfth-grader at Cibola High School
What do you like about school?
“The people,” Tanner says. Cibola High School is full of great teachers, staff, and students. He says he is lucky to have found amazing friends.
Favorite class?
Although his favorite subject is history, he also likes the unique and fun projects in art with Mrs. Sara Linn.
Activities and hobbies:
Tanner enjoys politics, history, and civics. He is involved with the varsity tennis team and the Student Senate, among other activities. He is acting president of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and is involved with Youth and Government (YAG). He plans to lead a model United Nations delegation this year.
Plans for the future:
“After high school, I plan to attend college, likely abroad, where I plan to major in either international relations or political science.” He hopes to become a foreign service officer in the U.S. State Department and to eventually serve as a U.S. ambassador.
