Spots Still Available for Superintendent’s Cup

The annual golf tournament, now in its eighth year, benefits the grant programs of the APS Education Foundation

Once a year, businesses across the state and their guests gather for a fun game of golf and networking in order to raise money for innovative approaches to education in Albuquerque Public Schools.

The Superintendent’s Cup golf tournament will take place on July 18 at Sandia Golf Club.

Employers sponsoring the tournament understand the importance of investing in the workforce of tomorrow. The APS Education Foundation uses the money raised through the tournament to fund innovative, educator-led programs and projects throughout the district through their grant programs.

The tournament is again presented by B&D Industries and lunch and dinner will be delicious summer barbeque generously donated by Texas Roadhouse. Golfers will have the opportunity to learn more about partnering to provide opportunities for APS students all while striving to take home the Cup!

Lead sponsors include Westwind Landscape, Bridgestone, Poms & Associates Insurance Brokers, Sandia Office Supply, Summit Energy and Pepsi.

Spots are still available in the a.m. and the p.m. flights.
